Before ‘N Sync and the Backstreet Boys, there was the New Kids on the Block. And cute, adorable Joey McIntyre was the Justin Timberlake of his day. Now 28, Joey goes by Joe, as he drives home on the title of his latest solo album, ”Meet Joe Mac.” McIntyre will sign autographs at 4 p.m. Friday at Sam Goody, 203 Yorktown Road, Lombard.
• Being one of People’s 50 most eligible bachelors is hard to live up to. I just saw another guy who was on the list and we talked about it and said, ”What are we supposed to do?”
• People always want to know how the rest of the guys are doing. I’m actually friendly with them all.
• Success is being able to be creative, do what you want and not starve.
• A man’s reach should be greater than his grasp. I always try to be creative and go after what’s in my heart as opposed to the easy catch.
• If I wasn’t performing I’d be on a farm somewhere. I don’t know how to do any of that stuff, but I could learn. Or hire someone. I’d sit back and have some lemonade on the porch.
