OK, so for the second year in a row, I’ve made goodie bags for my son’s birthday parties using brown paper lunch bags. They didn’t turn out nearly as cute as I fancied them to be when I was making them. But, I still like them.
Each bag was filled with a pot, potting soil and flower seeds. And because it is a goodie bag, I included packets of Pepero cookie sticks.
I wrote the children’s names on clothes pins, which I decorated with shiny owls.
The kids seemed to like the bags. One child asked if I had an extra one for his little sister. 🙂 The parents definitely liked them. One of the moms was joking that I must’ve had a lot of time on my hands to do this.
Not really, but it was fun to do while I was procrastinating from work.
Dirt and cookies. Not a bad combo, huh?
