Sometimes I get the best surprises. On Twitter, an artist named Hobi took the time to make these adorable drawings of my son and send them to me. (I am displaying them here with her permission.)
When I think of all the hateful trolls out there who live their lives to make other people feel miserable, I am thankful that there are people like Hobi, who share their work just because.
FWIW, I don’t know Hobi in real life. I just know that Hobi is immensely talented and enjoying seeing her posts on Twitter.
Also, I never really cared about my phone’s voice shutter (which allows me to take photos by saying words such as cheese, smile, kimchi and … whiskey!😂) But when we were sitting outside last night roasting marshmallows for S’mores, I had my phone in chair’s cup holder. I said kimchi for whatever reason right as my son was peering at my phone and it took the top photo, which is now one of my all-time favorite photos!
