For “Scandal” actor George Newbern, the perfect vacation would be to “rent a place in Paris and use that as a base to eat all the food and invite friends over to hang out.”
“A lot of people only think about five or six national parks, but there are more than 400 national parks across the country,” says Will Shafroth, president and CEO of The National Park Foundation. “A few examples: are the Pullman National Monument in Illinois, the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site in Georgia and the Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park in California.”
Academy Award-winning actress Mary Steenburgen has a lot on her plate these days.
